Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and help build and scale our modern data platform. This role focuses on designing and developing robust data pipelines and scalable data systems.

Location: Kochi, Kerala
Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days office | 2 days remote)
Employment Type: Permanent

Preference: Candidates based in Kerala

Key Responsibilities

Design and build scalable batch and streaming data pipelines
Develop and optimize large-scale data processing systems
Implement data modeling strategies for operational and analytical workloads
Collaborate with analytics, platform, and product teams to enable data-driven solutions

Required Skills

5+ years of experience in Data Engineering
Strong expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and SQL
Experience with batch and streaming data processing
Proficiency in Python and PySpark
Strong understanding of data modeling (Operational & Analytical)
Databases

Experience working with one or more of the following:

Apache Druid
PostgreSQL
MySQL
MSSQL
MongoDB
Oracle
OpenSearch

Nice to Have
Experience using AI-assisted or Agentic development frameworks
Experience building data platforms or analytics systems
Experience using any of the Data Pipeline orchestration tool
